Hello folk’s my name is David Rust although most folk know me as Rusty or “B-Front”, I’m a 23 year old up and coming Tech-Dance/Hard Dance Dj/Producer. Who is loving life.

2. When did you first show an interest in DJ’ing / producing?

Seeing the likes of Eddie Halliwell, Scot Project and Yoji manning the deck’s at Inside out made me realise that is where I want to be.

3. Who would you say have influenced you over the years musically?

Many people have but the Dj wise Eddie Halliwell,Producer wise Scot Project and Kamui,And more recently Kidd Kaos

4. What has been your favourite event to-date and why?

Tidy Weekender 15 for the reason that it was a great weekend with great dj’s and excellent organization, Was the second time I got to see Kamui play also.

5. What other artists would you recommend in the scene at the moment?

KloneZ,Liam Howells,Josh Lang,BRK3,Dj Husband,Joe-E,Ben Brenton and Argy, There’s loads of fresh face’s making wave’s at the moment to many to name.

On the local scene One lad to watch out for is Tommy Mulligan, this boy has skills

6. What would you say is your favourite record label at the moment?

I’m going to be bi-est here and say “Infexious Harddance” as I am now working A&R for you guy’s, Watch this space, Some massive releases to come.

7. What would you say has been your biggest achievement in your DJ’ing career so far?

Probably just getting to play at all the best night’s in Glasgow for my style of music and meeting some great new people on the way, Also getting some of my track’s signed to the like’s of Trancefuzion, Digitally Infected and Friction record’s has been a massive achievement for me this year.

8. What’s the strangest thing you have ever seen at an event?

A large hairy man in a wedding dress (Joe Munro) To be honest nothing’s strange at these event’s any more anything’s possible.

9. What can we expect from you in the future?

Lot’s more production’s for 2011,I have my new track “Prototech” being released on Australian Label Friction sometime soon with a KloneZ remix which will be huge because the guy is a genius, Plus I have 2 Remix’s coming out on Scott Alert’s Label Hard Kandy which is also Australian based label. On the Dj spectrum I have my Irish debut coming up in January in Dublin at the Vaults which I’m looking forward to

10. Do you have a message for the Infexious crew?

Yeah, Just keep doing what your doing guy’s, Infexious is an awesome night because you make it that way, The crowd make a night what it is and the Infexious crew are game as fuck for it,C’maaaan
