1. In no more than 100 words tell us a bit about yourself.

In the last few years I have grown to love Hard Trance and Hardstyle. Since I started DJ’ing these are the two genre’s that I have played most, but I have found my niche in Hard Trance. Outside music I am a student at Strathclyde University doing a course in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, yes, I am a geek :)

2. When did you first show an interest in DJ’ing / producing?

I saw Randy Katana and thought it was amazing how he could make the crowd go mental with his tunes. I saved up and got a set of Numark CD decks and a mixer and I havent looked back since.

3. Who would you say have influenced you over the years musically?

The first time I bought any music dance related was The Prodigy’s album, The Fat Of The Land. I must of been about 7 at the time. I used to belt out Smack My Bitch and Funky Shit at full volume til my Gran would come up to my room with a shocked look on her face and turn it off. So I guess they have influenced me. Artists that have heavily influenced what my music style is today are Scot Project, Zany, The Prophet, Dark By Design, Dana, Kamui and loads more.

4. What has been your favourite event to-date and why?

My favourite event that I have been to would have to be Defqon.1 2009. There was something mad like 30,000 people out their nuts on a beach in the sun listening to every kind of hard dance music possible, nothing beats it!

5. What other artists would you recommend in the scene at the moment?

Other artists I would recommend in the scene at the moment are Louk, Busho, FJ Project, Neal Thomas, Mike Steventon, Kidd Kaos, Mac & Taylor, B-Front, Frontliner and Psyko Punkz.

6. What would you say is your favourite record label at the moment?

Just now there is too many record labels that I am loving to choose one but one’s I would recommend are Audio Surgery, Compulzion, Tranzlation, Theracords, K405, Trancefuzion, Riot, Scantraxx, Dirty Workz and loads more.

7. What would you say has been your biggest achievement in your djing career so far?

My biggest achievement to date as a DJ could be a number of things, playing in the main room at Infexious and Rectify, I have also played at the Stereofunk festival and I am due to play at Relentless in Middlesbrough in the near future. I view all of these as big achievements!

8. What’s the strangest thing you have ever seen at an event?

One of the strangest things (in a long list) that I have seen at an event was Qbase 2009, one of my pals asked me if I wanted a drink and went away and came back with half a watermelon instead, this was at about 5 in the morning, where the hell did it come from?

9. What can we expect from you in the future?

In the future I plan to start producing my own music and we will see where it goes from there :)

10. Do you have a message for the Infexious crew?

Keep infecting lol
