My names Sam and I’ve been DJ’ing for a couple of years now. First started with hip-hop and gradually got into techno and hard dance.

2. When did you first show an interest in DJ’ing / producing?

Probably about 7-8 years ago when my dad got some old CD decks and started playing his massive collection of disco, house, techno and funk.

3. Who would you say have influenced you over the years musically?

it would have to be my dad at the start because he introduced me to music in general. recently it has been my girlfriend with her massive collection of music, giving me different influences that i have taken into some of the sets i play.

4. What has been your favorite event to-date and why?

Would have to be Park life last year. it was one of the nicest days in the summer and i stayed for the full time at the outdoor arena listening to funkagenda who was amazing.

5. What other artists would you recommend in the scene at the moment?

A couple. Hard dance wise it would have to be Mac & Taylor, the new Organ Donors stuff, Scott Attrill, Jody 6, Illogik, BK and all the Glasgow boys who have made some amazing music recently.

House/techno wise it would have to be Calvertron as every release for the past few years has been outstanding.

6. What would you say is your favorite record label at the moment?

The ones that stand out are Audio Surgery and Traffic are the two best this year so far

7. What would you say has been your biggest achievement in your DJ’ing career so far?

Opening up the main room at Infexious for the Organ Donors and Thera was amazing.

8. What’s the strangest thing you have ever seen at an event?

A man at about 60 wearing a Hawaiian shirt, covered in Christmas lights rocking out in the tidy tent at coloursfest a few years ago was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.

9. What can we expect from you in the future?

At the moment I’ve got a few gigs coming up and I’ve recently finished building my home studio which was a long time coming. I’m currently working on some of my own tracks and a big remix of Hardfloors ‘da revival’ so plenty to look forward too!
